CityMD Partners with Notable to Integrate AI into Urgent Care Operations

In a significant move to modernize urgent care services, CityMD has announced a multi-year partnership with Notable, a healthcare technology company specializing in artificial intelligence and automation. This collaboration aims to streamline administrative tasks across CityMD's network of nearly 200 clinics in the New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut areas.

AI Integration to Enhance Patient Experience

CityMD, which manages approximately 4 million patient encounters annually, plans to leverage Notable's AI and automation technology to tackle a range of administrative functions. These include scheduling, messaging, patient registration and intake, and payments. The integration of Notable's AI agents is expected to improve operational efficiency and reduce the administrative burden associated with walk-in care.

Dr. Dmitry Volfson, Chief Medical Officer of CityMD, emphasized the patient-centered approach driving this technological adoption: "By having tools that streamline the administrative tasks, our clinicians can work more efficiently and spend more time with our patients."

Notable's Expanding Footprint in Healthcare

Notable, founded in 2017, has rapidly expanded its presence in the healthcare sector. The company's technology is now deployed at over 12,000 sites of care, automating more than a million repetitive workflows daily. Notable's client roster includes major healthcare providers such as Intermountain Health, Medical University of South Carolina, and North Kansas City Hospital.

In October, Notable launched Flow Builder, a low-code interface allowing users to build, customize, and deploy AI-powered agents across various operational workflows. The company further expanded its reach in February by opening Flow Builder to third-party developers, consultancies, and software firms through its Builders Partner Program.

The partnership comes at a time of significant growth in the urgent care sector, with patient volumes jumping 60% since 2019.
