(NASDAQ: FBLG) announced first patient dosing in its Phase 1/2 prospective, multicenter, randomized clinical trial of CYWC628 for refractory diabetic foot ulcers; initial dosing occurred during the week of June 1, 2026. CYWC628 is an investigational topically administered allogeneic fibroblast cell-based therapy being evaluated for safety, tolerability, and efficacy over up to 12 weeks, comparing standard of care plus low- or high-dose CYWC628 versus standard of care alone. The company also provided a manufacturing update: drug product from its second GMP manufacturing run has been released and is scheduled to ship to Australia during the week of June 15, 2026, and it has completed manufacturing of the first two batches of its third GMP run.
