Oct. 12, 2026: ArriVent BioPharma (NASDAQ: AVBP) announced first-patient dosing in a U.S. Phase 1 trial of ARR-002 (NCT07755436) for advanced or metastatic ovarian or endometrial cancer. ARR-002, also referred to as AV-P138-ADC, is described as a potential first-in-class MUC16/NaPi2b dual-target tetravalent antibody-drug conjugate with site-specific vcMMAE conjugation and a drug-to-antibody ratio of 4.
The Phase 1 study is evaluating safety, tolerability, efficacy, and pharmacokinetics. The company said ARR-002 is intended to address heterogeneous target expression in solid tumors by dual targeting MUC16 and NaPi2b, which it states are highly overexpressed in ovarian and endometrial cancer.
The release also notes prior preclinical data presented at AACR 2026 (Abstract #2260), where ARR-002 showed improved in vitro and in vivo activity versus bivalent ADCs, and site-specific vcMMAE conjugation was reported to enhance stability and safety profile.
Separately, in August 2026, ArriVent entered an exclusive licensing agreement with Shanghai Allist Pharmaceuticals to develop and commercialize ARR-002 in Greater China, while ArriVent retained rights outside that territory.
