October 7, 2026: Glaukos Corporation (NYSE: GKOS) reported positive topline 3-year Phase 3 extension data from GLK-202-03 for Epioxa, its epithelium-on corneal cross-linking therapy for keratoconus. The study followed patients from the second pivotal Phase 3 trial, GLK-202-02, after a single treatment.

At 3 years, treated eyes showed a sustained 1.9 diopter improvement in maximum corneal curvature (Kmax) from baseline, indicating durable corneal flattening/stabilization. Visual outcomes were also maintained: 29% of eyes gained at least 2 lines of best-corrected visual acuity and 20% gained at least 3 lines from baseline. Safety remained favorable through 3 years, with no serious adverse events, no treatment-related adverse events, and no discontinuations due to adverse events.

GLK-202-03 enrolled 38 study eyes from 35 subjects, and 92% of eyes completed the year 3 visit. The company said the results support the durability and long-term safety of a single Epioxa treatment in keratoconus.
