October 7, 2026: Arvinas (NASDAQ: ARVN) presented final Phase 1 data at the 2026 International Congress of Parkinson’s Disease and Movement Disorders (MDS) on ARV-102, an investigational oral PROTAC LRRK2 degrader, in Parkinson’s disease. In 24 patients treated for 28 days with 20 mg to 80 mg or placebo, ARV-102 showed dose-dependent increases in amplitude of saccadic hypometria after 28 days versus placebo, indicating less severe impaired eye movement.
The company also reported decreases in cerebrospinal fluid biomarkers linked to endolysosomal function and neuroinflammation, increases in biomarkers of synaptic integrity and axonal guidance, and associations between reductions in CSF LRRK2 protein and improvements in oculomotor function and pathway biomarkers. Arvinas said the findings add to data presented earlier in 2026 at AD/PD showing brain penetration and reductions in LRRK2 variant- and expression-dependent endolysosomal and neuroinflammatory CSF biomarkers.
The data were presented in a late-breaking oral session and an e-poster at MDS in Seoul on Wednesday, October 7. Arvinas said the Phase 1 study was not designed to assess clinical efficacy, but the results support continued clinical evaluation of ARV-102 in neurodegenerative diseases associated with LRRK2 dysregulation.
