Oct. 6, 2026: Nurix Therapeutics (NASDAQ: NRIX) announced first-patient enrollment in the Phase 1b/2 NX-5948-203 trial of bexobrutideg (NX-5948), an investigational oral BTK degrader, in combination with venetoclax for chronic lymphocytic leukemia/small lymphocytic lymphoma (CLL/SLL). The initial cohort focuses on relapsed/refractory CLL, with potential expansion into treatment-naïve/first-line CLL.

The study, conducted under Nurix’s collaboration with Roche, is designed to assess safety, tolerability, and clinical activity of the bexobrutideg/venetoclax combination. The company said the results are expected to inform future registrational development in CLL, including possible combination cohorts with Roche anti-CD20 antibodies rituximab and obinutuzumab and potential expansion into other B-cell malignancies.

Other bexobrutideg programs cited: DAYBreak CLL-201, a pivotal single-arm Phase 2 study in relapsed/refractory CLL previously treated with covalent and noncovalent BTK inhibitors and a BCL2 inhibitor; DAYBreak CLL-306, a randomized Phase 3 trial versus pirtobrutinib in relapsed/refractory CLL after prior covalent BTK inhibitor treatment; and NX-5948-301, a Phase 1a/1b trial in relapsed/refractory B-cell malignancies.
