September 23, 2026: HUTCHMED (Nasdaq/AIM:HCM; HKEX:13) said new and updated data for savolitinib, fruquintinib, and surufatinib programs will be presented at ESMO Congress 2026 in Madrid on October 23-27.
Savolitinib: Two positive Phase III studies of savolitinib plus osimertinib in NSCLC were selected as late-breaking oral presentations. SAFFRON, a global Phase III trial in EGFR-mutated NSCLC with MET overexpression/amplification after progression on osimertinib, previously reported statistically significant and clinically meaningful improvements in PFS and OS versus platinum-pemetrexed; it will be presented in the Presidential Symposium on October 25, 2026. SANOVO, a China Phase III trial in first-line locally advanced/metastatic EGFR-mutated, MET-overexpressing NSCLC, previously reported statistically significant and clinically meaningful PFS improvement and clinically meaningful OS benefit versus osimertinib alone; it will be presented October 26, 2026.
Fruquintinib: Presentations include updated metastatic colorectal cancer expanded-access data; FRUSICA-2 post-hoc/subgroup analyses in advanced renal cell carcinoma with sintilimab; multiple investigator-initiated studies in colorectal, ovarian, breast, gastric/gastroesophageal, esophageal, rectal, and non-clear cell renal cancers, including trials-in-progress ULYSSE-FFCD2406-PRODIGE115 and the Phase III FRUQUITAS study.
Surufatinib: Presentations include final Phase II pancreatic cancer analysis with camrelizumab/nab-paclitaxel/gemcitabine; updated first-line extrapulmonary neuroendocrine carcinoma data with EP plus serplulimab in a rapid oral session on October 23; and multiple Phase I/II studies in ampullary carcinoma, NETs, pancreatic cancer, soft tissue sarcoma, and ES-SCLC.
