October 1, 2026: Lexeo Therapeutics (NASDAQ: LXEO) said an abstract on LX2006 was accepted for an oral presentation at the International Congress of Parkinson’s Disease and Movement Disorders 2026 in Seoul. The presentation, “Intravenous AAVrh.10hFXN (LX2006) Gene Therapy in Friedreich Ataxia: Early Neurologic Assessment from Two Phase 1 and 2 Studies,” is scheduled for October 7 at 12:30 p.m. KST and will be presented by Dr. Theresa Zesiewicz.
The company said the talk will highlight previously reported data showing early stabilization or improvement in mFARS scores in LX2006-treated participants versus a propensity-matched control cohort from the UNIFAI natural history study, and will include new mFARS subscore analyses aimed at further characterizing neurologic outcomes after treatment.
LX2006 is an AAV-based gene therapy candidate for Friedreich ataxia cardiomyopathy. The program is being evaluated in SUNRISE-FA 2, a Phase 2 registrational trial (NCT07721025), with continued long-term follow-up in the SUNRISE-FA Phase 1/2 study (NCT05445323) and a Weill Cornell investigator-initiated Phase 1A trial (NCT05302271).
