AVTX-009 (anti-IL-1β mAb) - (LOTUS)

September 23, 2026: Avalo Therapeutics, Inc. (NASDAQ: AVTX) announced upcoming EADV Congress 2026 presentations on abdakibart in moderate to severe hidradenitis suppurativa (HS). A poster on September 30, 2026 will present primary results from the placebo-controlled Phase 2 LOTUS trial, and a late-breaker oral presentation on October 1, 2026 will present week 16 efficacy and safety results plus IHS4 subgroup and lesion-type analyses from the same Phase 2 placebo-controlled study.

The company describes abdakibart as a humanized/high-affinity anti-IL-1β IgG4 agent and says it is advancing the program into a Phase 3 registrational program in HS. Avalo also notes it is developing AVTX-010, a long-acting next-generation anti-IL-1β monoclonal antibody, but no new data or milestone for AVTX-010 is provided here.
