Sept. 17, 2026: Tiziana Life Sciences (Nasdaq: TLSA) announced an MOU with the King Abdullah International Medical Research Center, King Saud bin Abdulaziz University for Health Sciences, and the Foundation for Neurologic Diseases to collaborate on a planned clinical trial of intranasal foralumab plus existing anti-CD20 therapy in relapsing-remitting multiple sclerosis patients who respond poorly to anti-CD20 alone.

The event is a partnership/collaboration catalyst rather than a trial readout. Tiziana said intranasal foralumab has reduced neuroinflammation in three clinical studies to date. The MOU was signed Sept. 16, 2026 at the Riyadh Global Medical Biotechnology Summit.

Foralumab is also being studied in non-active secondary progressive multiple sclerosis (na-SPMS): Tiziana said its Phase 2a randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled, multicenter, dose-ranging trial (NCT06292923) remains blinded, with results expected in October 2026. In an open-label expanded access program (NCT06802328), 14 na-SPMS patients have been dosed, with improvement or disease stability within 6 months reported in all patients.

The company also said additional Phase 2 trials are ongoing in Alzheimer’s disease and multiple system atrophy.
