July 17, 2026: Evaxion A/S (NASDAQ: EVAX) announced it will present three-year clinical efficacy follow-up data from its Phase 2 trial of personalized cancer vaccine candidate EVX-01 in advanced melanoma at the ESMO Congress 2026 (Madrid, Oct 23–27, 2026). The three-year data come from a one-year extension in which, during year three, patients received EVX-01 as stand-alone therapy (without anti–PD-1), intended to provide insight into vaccine-only activity and durability/potentially enhanced effects of the EVX-01–induced immune response.
Previously presented two-year Phase 2 results are summarized: objective response rate 75% (12/16) including 4 complete responses; 92% of patients were still responding at two years with no relapses observed. Deepened responses occurred in 54% of patients (e.g., stable disease/partial response improving to partial/complete response). Tumor reduction in target lesions was seen in 15/16 patients. EVX-01 induced immune responses in all patients; 86% of targeted neoantigens generated specific T-cell responses.
ESMO presentation: poster “EVX-01… after three-year of follow-up” (#2006P), Oct 24, 2026, 12:00–12:45 CET, Poster Area Hall 5; presenter Dr. Muhammad Adnan Khattak.
