Aug. 24, 2026: Anixa Biosciences, Inc. (NASDAQ: ANIX) said it will present at the 2026 Cantor Fitzgerald Global Healthcare Conference on Sept. 11, 2026, highlighting two oncology programs.
Breast cancer vaccine (with Cleveland Clinic): Anixa said final Phase 1 data showed all primary endpoints were met, including safety, and protocol-defined immune responses were generated in 74% of participants. The trial was funded by the U.S. Department of Defense. The company said preparations are underway for a Phase 2 trial.
Liraltagene-autoleucel (lira-cel) ovarian cancer CAR-T/CER-T program (with Moffitt Cancer Center): In the ongoing Phase 1 trial in heavily pre-treated, recurrent, resistant ovarian cancer patients, dosing has advanced to the fifth and highest cohort evaluated so far, with lymphodepletion added for the first time. Anixa reported no dose-limiting toxicities to date; four patients have survived more than one year after treatment, with the longest survival approximately 28 months.
