August 13, 2026: CAMP4 Therapeutics (NASDAQ: CAMP) said it received regulatory clearance in Australia and Argentina to start a first-in-human Phase 1/2 trial of CMP-002 in patients with SYNGAP-1 related disorder, with trial initiation expected in Q4 2026. The company said the clearances came from Australia’s TGA and local HREC, and Argentina’s ANMAT. It also submitted regulatory filings in the European Union and United Kingdom to support broader enrollment across multiple sites.
Separately, CAMP4 reported a fully subscribed second closing of its private placement, raising $50.1 million in gross proceeds after approximately $50 million raised in September 2025, which it said extends cash runway through the end of 2028. Cash and cash equivalents were $86.4 million as of June 30, 2026, before the second tranche closed.
