August 11, 2026: Bolt Biotherapeutics (NASDAQ: BOLT) reported a business update centered on BDC-4182, a first-in-class/next-generation Boltbody ISAC targeting claudin 18.2, in an ongoing Phase 1/2 trial for gastric and gastroesophageal cancer. The company said patients are being treated in Cohort 4 at the 4.0 mg/kg dose level, with step-up dosing used to reach higher doses safely. It stated BDC-4182 has been well tolerated to date and that it is seeing activity consistent with its immune-stimulating mechanism, but no clinical efficacy figures were disclosed. Initial clinical data from the Phase 1/2 study are expected with Bolt’s 3Q 2026 results, which is the key upcoming catalyst.

The update also said the rest of the pipeline is on hold, including BDC-3042, a Dectin-2 agonist that completed a first-in-human Phase 1 dose-escalation trial, and preclinical ISAC programs targeting CEA and PD-L1.

As of June 30, 2026, cash, cash equivalents, and marketable securities were $18.1 million, which the company said should fund operations into 1Q 2027.
